marit is a spitfire of a coatl. her peppy, businesslike nature contrasts against her sharp tongue and prowess in battle. she's spent many years cultivating her teas among untamed lands and fending off aggressive beastfolk.

she considers clan lumenbrand rash and disagreeable, so it's any wonder why she remains within their territory. she would say it's because she and her husband were here first, but she wouldn't deny enjoying telling ragnhild she told her so.

marit is usually wrapped up in her own business, but she has a soft spot for some of the youthful members of the lumenbrand. hiorulf occasionally consults her for mercantile advice and she considers him the most tolerant of the founding drakes. if any dragon happens to traipse into lumenbrand lands, marit is often one of the first to greet. she's always got a warm pot of tea brewing.

mildly adept at healing magic, the coatl sometimes puts her stuffiness aside and brews a warm, soothing tea for the battered warriors. while she thinks ragnhild is putting dragons needlessly at risk, she can't say no to a dragon in need.
