ABOUT. Seien is afflicted with the same condition as his mate, except his is slightly less serious and possibly not fatal. He is a Ravaged dragon, a Plague/Earth subspecies, and like all Ravaged, he is steadily losing the use of his wings as his scales harden to stone. Fortunately, his strain of the disease is significantly less serious; a healer and a witch doctor, Eidotheia and Metis, have isolated it and contained it to the runes currently seared into his hide. The strain of disease he's affected by won't be fatal. Alke's, however, is. It is a fact that haunts him to no end. Alke was the first Ravaged in the Clan of Rattling Bone, and she had been the one to show him around and get him acquainted with its members. She continued to help him even as her condition worsened, up to the point when she collapsed one day in the middle of the dig and Seien took it upon himself to complete both their workloads. Although the clan was understanding and insisted that he had to do no such thing, Seien kept at it. He's still very much grateful to be a part of the clan. He had been kicked out of the previous few due to his inherent nature as a bit of a mercenary and a coward, and is still a little bit surprised that this one didn't make him leave. The clan leaders reasoned that, well, they already had dragons like Praxidike, Discordia and Scoria around; what more harm could one more dagon like Seien do? You can find him hard at work most of the time. He's a soft-spoken fellow, often preferring to let his actions speak for him. Under that stony silence, you can find a generous, unassuming imperial who cares deeply for his mate and for those around him. If it were possible, he'd trade places with Alke in a heartbeat. IMPRESSIONS. PAST. RELATIONSHIPS. Alke: Mate. Seien knows that the strain of disease that wracks Alke's body is much worse than his. It's the least he can do to care for her-- Seien wishes he could bear the burden instead. Kithairon: Boss. Seien respects him and is grateful for the frequent breaks that Kithairon gives.
