ABOUT. IMPRESSIONS. PAST. Epimetheus joined the clan when it was very much in its infancy. A wanderer at heart, he was never quite satisfied or happy staying in a single place for long. All he knew and loved was the silence and solitude of the wasteland-- rust-red earth as far as the eye could see, the whispering breeze, hunger digging its claws in. It is understandable if you do not understand his preferences. Most don't, but he doesn't give a fig about them. As a hatchling, Epimetheus was restless and inquisitive, always yearning to find out more about the big, beautiful world that was Sorineth. This curiosity turned to fascination, and soon, he decided to travel the world. But Sorineth is a dangerous place to wander alone, and he's only lasted this long by more than sheer force of will. Some nightmare don't go away. Till he arrived at the Clan of Rattling Bone, Epimetheus had every intention of stopping only for a quick refuel and leaving as soon as he could. All of that changed when he set eyes on Diamondust, the clan's first border guard. Epimetheus was captivated by the soft-spoken masked guardian, and swore to win her heart before the day was out. She rejected his initial advances. It was a while before Epimetheus could prove that he was a loyal and trustworthy companion, given his tendency to let both heart and mind wander. Needless to say, it took much longer than a single day. At the end of it all, he was left with a hollow feeling in his chest--no longer did adventure call to him-- that was now replaced with a welcome weight, an anchor: his love for another. Epimetheus now guards the borders of the clan together with Diamondust. He keeps company with Prometheus, a wildclaw engineer. Though the two seem vastly different at first sight, they've got quite a bit in common and are as inseparable as brothers. When he's not on duty or spending time with his mate, he can often be found lounging around at the post office, chatting with Prometheus. Epimetheus may be better at shirking his duties and making excuses for them than his actual role, but his experiences are invaluable and he will fight without a second thought for those he cares for.
