ABOUT.
Tisiphone is the clan's best and most experienced assassin. She's mostly retired now, and mentors any aspiring warriors and brawlers who come to the clan looking for a master. The basics are there -- she was a fighter before she became a knife in the dark.

She will not train new assassins. That life is behind her.

Besides the training, which keeps her plenty busy, she has the company of her mate, Thrasos (who was her go-to weapons dealer when she was still in the business), and a few older members of the clan. She's got a working partnership with Discordia, the spymaster, and is also fairly friendly with the new faces.

Although her limbs ache and her eyesight wanes, Tisiphone is still formidable on the battlefield. She's long forgone the flashy, graceful moves she favoured in the past, instead settling for quick, effective strikes that do the job in half the time. What she now lacks in strength, she makes up for in agility and experience. Students looking to challenge her will find it difficult -- not impossible, but tough -- to get past her defenses.

There is still some thrill she chases, some echo of a hunt long past, but she has already accomplished so much. Now, her legacy will lie in the fighters (one of whom is her granddaughter, Anaideia) she mentors, and this itch is one she won't have to scratch for a long, long time.

IMPRESSIONS.
Grizzled, weary, sharp-eyed. Some grey in her tailfeathers. Tisiphone is outwardly quite unremarkable and deeply forgettable. She blends in with the rabble -- useful trait as an assassin, not so much as a renown master.

PAST.
Good assassins stay out of the limelight. Those with a reputation tend to draw unwanted attention, which is terrible for assassins who possess even a shred of self-preservation. Tisiphone never bragged, never flaunted, always kept the details (even the success) of a job between herself and her handler. Some secrets have wormed their way out, though, and Tisiphone has a small reputation because of it. She'll never admit it, but she's a bit proud of that.

The 'no training new assassins' part was somewhat of a lie. Tisiphone would rather call it a preference. The last assassin she trained was Anaideia, her granddaughter. She saw something of herself in the young mirror, so conceded when Anaideia made the request. This was in the clan's early days, when things were more uncertain and she still looked back on her past with some fondness.

Anaideia: Granddaughter. Dotes on her, but is strict when it's time to train.
Thrasos: Mate. Loves him so much her heart feels full to bursting sometimes.
