Karuk is a proud warrior, renowned for his ability to dive from incredible heights and rain down death from above upon his enemies. With tooth, claw, and cutting blade Karuk is able to rend limb from limb with the kind of ferocious ease that comes only from years of meticulous training. Once a large guardian like his brother, Karuk always wished to truly take the skies as his own, and so, upon being crowned a paragon of Shal’anir, Karuk was gifted with a new form - one befitting of someone such as himself. Now he has mastered it, and even his wings can be seen as weapons, for the time spent diving again and again, sometimes tearing his wings from their sockets and fraying their edges, has sharpened them to points as deadly as the weapons he carries.
Despite the sheer ferocity Karuk defends Shal'anir with, he's not particularly close to any who call her home. His more 'humble' personality may present him as one of the more approachable paragons of Shal'anir, but he is distant and, although he will hold conversation, never takes it beyond that point. As one who trusts slow but will do so with every fibre of his being, he has no more time for relationships that serve only to hurt him, and those who are given the honour of having Karuk consider them a friend are few and far between. For some, however, the companionable silence the Reaver offers in place of heartfelt conversation is more than enough, and may find that the veteran's heart is not made of stone.

- Often content to let his brother be the louder of the two, but will speak up when he has to or feels particularly strongly on a subject
- Mediator between Agnar and the latest thing that's angered him
- Hurls friendly insults like it's his job
- Consider that Karuk is actually adopted. Still considers Agnar his brother but isn't as closely tied to Phalanx and Eidolon - seeing them more as commanders than parental figures
