Glade

Zephyr Ward Keeper Glade is the lair's head hatchling Keeper. He's acts like a mother, and that has gotten some to poke fun at him for being born the wrong gender. However, he doesn't let that bother him a bit, being more concerned for the hatchlings than his own well-being. Not that watching over the future of the lair has made him become less of an apprehensive "mother". More than anything though, he just wants the young dragons to be happy, content, and feel safe, showing each and every one of them his love.

He pays two particular hatchlings, Pollux, and Regor, quite the attention. Ever since their arrival, the weather around the lair has been unpredictable, if not just downright stormy, whether it be rain or snow. The rest of the lair has adjusted and don't seem to mind, as they live right on the border of the Icefields, but Glade can't help but be weary of the two and their seeming connection to said weather. However, that does not make him love them any less. If anything, he's grown a special attachment to them as he spends the most time keeping an eye on them. Though he could do less with Pollux's curiosity, as the small tundra's curiosity gets him into dangerous situations, to which the anxious Keeper has to come to the rescue. Glade jokes that he use to be all Ivory, and then Pollux came around and made his coat turn white to do stress and fright. Nonetheless, he adores them both quite ferociously.

Other than his love for the hatchling he cares for, Glade has had an eye for his work partner, Uriel. The two of them are the primary hatchling care-takers. Uriel has no idea that his co-worker has taken interest in him, and would much less regard him in the same way if he were to know. Though he longs for a partner who shares his adoration towards the younger generations, Glade knows full well he would never have enough courage to tell Uriel, or be able to handle a rejection.
