Venom is not polite. Venom is not subtle. Venom is loud, in every sense of the word.

Extremely aggressive toward anyone she perceives as dangerous, Venom does her best to direct that energy in ways that matter. She's a straightforward dragon who wears her heart on her sleeve: if she doesn't like you, you will know. That said, she's perfectly happy to get along with any dragon who she perceives as nonthreatening, and will go to great lengths to stick up for underdogs like Cactus. She's also not above admitting she's wrong; it takes a lot to convince her, but even she'll admit she sometimes overreacts in the heat of the moment.

Her methods may be extreme (she's been known to physically attack dragons many times her size in order to help someone less fortunate), but they come from a place of pain. She was born in the Ashfall Waste and was quickly manipulated into a long string of abusive relationships. Eventually she snapped and decided she'd had enough, and attacked her oppressors and fled for her life. She ended up in the Scarred Wasteland, desperate to learn how to harness her pain into something that could help others. She didn't just want to survive: she wanted to thrive. And despite her Fire eyes and the fact she's now far from the Plaguebringer's lands, many dragons pick up on that extremely Plague-like mentality.

Venom just laughs. It's a godsdamned compliment.

However, Venom recognizes not everyone has the capacity to be as mean or harsh as her - even when it's ultimately for a good cause - so she does her best to listen to those more timid than she is. Sometimes, admittedly, her passion gets the better of her. She likes Cactus and has started spending more time around her, both to protect her and to learn how someone can be so nice all the time. (Cactus has mixed feelings on this - she appreciates the support Venom offers but is a little nervous about how Plague she seems at times. Still, Venom's orange eyes reassure her, and she's becoming more comfortable around her lately.)
