 Divider-vert-long-1.png The dragon is a bit of a mystery as Aurelio too had been exalted alongside Lirael but the journey Aurelio undertook was nothing like the turn-around one the Lirael experienced. Aurelio was not brought through the planes in the arms of the Lightweaver or Shadowbinder but instead in the clutches of the Shade.

Lirael returned nearly a year after having left, Aurelio took longer. Aurelio came back nothing like the dragon that had existed before the exaltation.

Dark scars were etched into her small body, maybe the marks of claws that had tried to grasp her? Maybe they were remnants of magic that had tried to turn her.

She was much quieter than she had been before, thought not many of the present member remember much of the small Fae. She also does not spend a lot of time around the newer members of the Clan, instead she sticks close to the members of the archives who are in turn quite protective of her.

Occasionally she will have moments of clarity where her laugh sounds just right and her eyes twinkle like they used to. Then, that moment will fade and once again she will be a ghost of herself.

She spends a majority of her time surrounded by the butterflies that always seemed to cling to her form. The dance and keep her occupied while the others are busy marking down the history of what is happening around them. Every now and then she will add an anecdote to their writings and it is always spot on.

She does not have much to say, but everything she says carries a weight to it. Even the hatchlings pause in their games to listen to her slow, monotone, and even paced speech.

author notes: I decided not to auto recover my secondary progen, I only wanted the dragon that I had designed myself when the option of returning past exalted dragons happens. I was part of batch 1 of returned dragons for Lirael. I found a near-perfect gen 1 for Aurelio instead.
