Randt never had a peaceful life. From the land he was born, every day was a battle for survival. Granted, that was what Plague was known for - an endless cycle of hardship. But where Randt hatched, most of its denizens would avoid. Nicknamed “Jornada del Muerto”, it was part of The Abiding Boneyard far too arid even for the hardest to live in. Here, it was kill or be killed, and no law applied. This would be crucial to Randt’s formative years, as he lied, swindled and obliterated anything and anyone, regardless of worth. |

Rumours stirred of an ancient artifact who would bestow its owner with unbelievable power, but at an immense cost. To a normal being, they would steer clear of it. Not Randt, as his selfish desires to become stronger and prove his worth drove him to search for it. Something deep in him knew that if he finally found it, he would be unstoppable. Everyone, knowing that Rand would not stop to find it, warned him time and time again that finding it would be the end of him. It was to his greatest surprise when his one and only partner who he solely confided in, and one who was the hardiest, violently opposed his search. Randt argued with him, the meeting ending in the near-death of his partner. Randt felt twangs of pain, but his mind was long set on finding the artifact. |
