BLESSING
Blessing. The essence of the gods, the power bestowed upon every dragon who ascends beyond the borders of Sorienth to become Exalted.
Tarrow leads a city of god-thieves with only one purpose: to steal the Blessing from the very bodies of Exalted.

THE SHATTERED THIEVES
Blessing was never meant to be shared. So when it was stolen, it burned the hands that held it.
Used, changed, broken. These are the words the Shattered Thieves use to describe themselves and the condition that brands them. Stained glass wings and crusted membranes mark where a Thief's stolen Blessing shattered, and how its shards scarred them. These dragons are hollow, but hum with the remnant of the Blessing they stole.

At some point in time, each Thief was once linked to a Exalted dragon to drain their power over time. Such dragons are known as Blessed Links, and when their links snap, a dragon's shattering is the result. Shattered thieves no longer possess the heavenly abilities of Blessed Links. It is said that some radiate an aura that makes their edges glow in dark places. Their voices echo as if they speak from far away, and their eyes shine wrong in the night. Some believe that the future appears in their dreams, but always as if seen from another dragon's eyes.
