Lasciel

Some claim Lasciel is the incarnation of a star that crashed into Sornieth. That's entirely false, but it would explain why she's eternally at least slightly on fire. She even looks sort of like a meteor, running across the clan at breakneck speeds and trailing smoke the entire way. Those who have never met her would assume Lasciel to be a terrifying berserk warrior, but nothing could be farther from the truth.

Back when Invernale and Kushiel led the clan, Lasciel was their dutiful servant and butler, in her own particular way. When leadership passed to Silas, he was insistent that he didn't need or deserve a personal assistant, and told her to help the rest of the clan instead. Lasciel may have disagreed, but she was given an order, and so she serves the rest of the clan as instructed. However, she still takes payment in treasure directly from the clan's coffers, because as far as she's concerned she still works directly for the clan leader.

Mirrors usually aren't the sort of dragon to willingly work for others, but then again, Lasciel isn't the usual sort of mirror. Her eyes might glow with a burning rage, but that rage isn't directed towards other dragons, or even the beastclans. Lasciel rages against the minor inconveniences that other dragons are forced to suffer though, such as cleaning, having to fetch things from the other end of the fortress, and not having access to a delicious cup of hot tea at all times. Nothing makes Lasciel angrier than seeing one of her clanmates doing something that she could do for them. And she will be doing those things for them, unless those clanmates feel like standing their ground against an enraged mirror.

(They don't.)

Luckily, Lasciel is polite enough to warn the other members of Clan _______ that they're about to have their needs taken care of. By screaming like a wildclaw charging into battle. That grabs their attention quite handily. Screeching like that makes sure they'll be prepared to get out of the way and allow Lasciel to clean up their exploded project, or that they'll be ready to receive the cup of piping hot tea that's approaching at an excessively high velocity. (As a very skillful butler, Lasciel also knows how to treat burn wounds.)

Screaming also has other uses, such as warning the rest of the clan to get out of her way. As it turns out, the trail of fire Lasciel leaves as she sprints across the fortress to fetch someone's hat doesn't always do it. But the primal, bloodcurdling screech of a mirror will cause anyone to jump out of her path in panic. Then she can run without worry of collisions, and make sure that nobody is kept waiting. That would be improper. (Running through the halls screaming isn't.)

Lasciel's fire magic is fueled by her anger, which is why her inner fire is always burning bright. But as far as she's concerned, a butler only has one use for fire. Boiling water for tea. (She does use fire magic, even if everyone else claims she boils water by screaming at it.) To be fair, making tea is the most important of butler's duties, so she's thankful for her gift. But literally burning with rage has its downsides, the biggest of which is tracking soot everywhere. It's unbecoming to be dirtying the lair herself, and time spent cleaning up ash is time the rest of the clan has to survive without her care.

And that just makes Lasciel angrier.
