Atbu's breath is both her curse and her blessing. Even her softest whispers coat the conversation within a thick layer of frost, leading to a reserved nature and a habit of keeping others at arms length. She's ponderous and extremely logical, more than happy enough to simply freeze her prey into solid statuettes. If her cold comments don't get you, her claws certainly will.

Atbu spent time at the Fortress of Ends, keeping all of the frozen specimens and dangerous dragons under close watch. She became one of the top jailers there. It was a tiring job but she enjoyed it, until her icy gaze fell upon the rest of the world.

She saw the unruly and changing nature of the world and how any dragon could be left to do whatever evil they wanted to. Her faith to the Icewarden led her to dream of a world where these dragons were stopped.

She decided to leave, with the Icewardens' blessing, to begin her protection and guarding of the world around her. Her new home would be a clan rising in power in the Southern Icefields that, she was informed, wasn't entirely faithful to the Icewarden. It was here where she would begin her arduous task.

The clan has welcomed her as its new Jailer and to help with the security of the lair. Although some find that when she does speak, which is not often, she sounds rather preachy, she is very hard working and does a fantastic job. Her place in Jötunheimr is secured for as long as she continues her work.
