Jötunheimr's Water Ambassador
Mysterious, Calm, Knowing
Dione spent all of her life underwater, seeing the currents and getting glimpses of possible futures to come. She was known to spend months at a time completely still in meditation. Though not all of what she saw came to pass, she shared it with those close to her as soon as she saw it in the hopes that they could avoid tragedy.

As a hatchling she had a vision of a great calamity that may befall her clan, but didn't speak of it out of fear. So when the things in her vision started to come true she tried to help her clan mates escape, but it was too late and only she survived the collapse and landslide from the earthquake she foresaw.

Her life underwater came to an end when she had a vision from the Tidelord, telling her that she would no longer be seeing visions, as she had seen her share already. Desperate to remain serving the Tidelord as she had always done, she asked what she could do to help him. He said she must be an ambassador for Water in a growing lair far to the south.

The residents of Jötunheimr tend to be wary of those who say they see the future, but they welcomed Dione all the same. Although she is timid, she does anything and everything she can to help the Water dragons there, and even if they aren't waterborne she would still try.

Her main job is water distribution, making sure that enough snow is melted and enough gets shared, but between these duties she sits in the pool that was dug upon her arrival, hoping for just a glimpse of what may come.
