"The Starseeker" Bashful | Reclusive | Innocent | Sweet Master Astronomer and Celestial Cartographer Clan Ambassador to the Arcane Flight 
The coming of Kalon to the Clan was certainly a mystery recorded in story scrolls. Late during the night, while most of the Clan slept, a strange, fuchsia shooting "star" was seen traversing the wide, star-crossed sky of Dragonhome. It crashed in a distant mountain in a small eruption of energy, subtle enough to not alarm anyone in particular. Nocturnal witnesses were extremely concerned at this sudden foreign entity and investigated immediately. Kalon was but a mere hatchling, protected by an orb of Arcane-enchanted stone and rock. The crater he left was barely more than 5ft wide...indeed, his stature was small. With wide, scared pink eyes, he looked upon the sudden Earthy investigators in fear. Where did you come from, they would ask...how did you get here? The questions without answers. He did not know. Fortunately, the Clan of the Wild Path found him first and took him into their safety. Finding comfort among the other Fae and Nocturnes (the otherwise He's grown since then, and has become one of, if not the only dragon in the Clan who could wield the magic of the Arcane. Through his studies and his magic he became an expert on the night sky. Of course, none of this could have happened had it not been for Clan Fallout Skies, an Arcane clan to whom he feels extremely strong ties. In their generosity, they allowed him to borrow hundreds of books and scrolls on astronomy, star charts, and basic Arcane magic tomes. While no one there has said anything straightforward, Kalon believes he may have come from their ranks. Regardless, the Wild Path was his home now, even if they were a bit more...rustic. It was not long before the Clan leader Berylwarden requested he be the Ambassador to the Arcane flight, an honor he most humbly accepted. 
Kalon is a sweetie pie. While he doesn't have many friends, those he is close to would certainly tell you his demeanor is anything but sugary, sticky cinnamon bun sweet. He'll make you tea, give you a comfy place to sit (with his smallness, it may not be practical), and offer anything he can to make you feel comfortable and at home. His smile goes from frill to frill and his eyes light up with curiosity when you speak, truly invested in what you have to say. A caveat is he's extremely shy. He'll avoid any social situations outside of his comfort zone and flee to the safety of his den at a moment's notice. He's most comfortable by himself, pulling all nighters on the cliff ledge of his den, sipping piping hot tea while watching the stars. It's no wonder he sleeps in so late. The greatest, if not the cutest little aspect of Kalon is his bashfulness when it comes to romance. He is a writer in his free time, writing the fluffiest fictional love stories you can imagine. His blush blends in so well with his pink smoke markings, so it's hard to notice. Even worse, there is one dragon that has caught his eye, but he will never, ever, ever, ever say it to him. To admit his feelings is to die. Oh, no no no. never! So instead, he leaves really sweet, elegant, well written secret admirer letters wherever he goes. Of course, he ensures his safety miles away from the site before his targets reads it. Nope. Never gonna be seen. Nope nope. Nope. How hopeless. |
