Stick was born blind, his bright electric blue eyes that marked him as a Lightning flight dragon were cloudy, proving his inability to see. Despite his clan's lack of faith in his ability to survive, Stick did so, more even. He learned how to see without the use of his eyes even to the point where he could fight if he had to. With their tough love, and now slight acceptance of his usefulness, Stick announced he was turning his back on them... He was grateful they hadn't cast him out as a hatchling but couldn't find love for dragons who had once scorned him.

Years went by as he learned new fighting skills, usually physical instead of a coatl's typical magic based fighting style. He was met by a blind familiar in the Abidding Boneyard of the Plague domain and despite his reservations, took it under his wings. N~~aming the familiar Matt, Stick taught him how to fight and defend himself before leaving after he gave Matt a gift and Matt started showing affection towards him.~~

His travels eventually took him to the Wrymwound were he met Matt again while in a fight against fledgling dragons, whom Stick knew would grow into killers. The familiar attacked him, using Stick's training to defend the other dragons, but ultimately failed. Stick wouldn't kill his old apprentice though, he wasn't that heartless, he just used tough love, and instead merely knocked out the familiar before leaving once more. He took care of several other dragons that had been causing problems before finally settling down in a clan where he could stay to rest in while he wasn't fighting.

Stick enjoyed his life in this Plague clan. While there were certainly dragons with questionable motives living there, he soon realized that most of them were undeniably loyal to their home and focused his attentions on dangers outside of the clan. One day, another dragon was brought into his home. This female had obvious signs of experimentation, though her spirit hadn't been broken. This dragon, he came to know as Madame Web... or his mate... was very interesting to say the least. Almost as if her very presence made his love grow, though he still acted tough most of the time, which served to amuse his new mate. Stick would have a hard time deciding what he liked best about her but is pretty sure the answer could be because she doesn't underestimate him because of his blindness, as it lets him know she doesn't see it as a weakness. In fact, he guarantees she sees it as his advantage, which only makes him love her all the more.
