Janyln has walked a fine line most of her life. Her work as an oracle seemed to stray ever closer to darker magics, something which pushed those few who interacted with her away.

When the Rot swept through the clan, Janyln retreated for a long while, immersing herself in books that ought to have been lost long ago. She determined that if she would be of any use, she must learn something unique- something no one else would dare to.

With this new development, even Tix (her former apprentice and presumed lover) couldn't condone her actions, and drew a line.

Janyln soon crossed over that line, experimenting with various forms of Necromancy, in addition to Blood Magic; a taboo form of sorcery that uses ritual sacrifice to power spells. In response, Tix ceased all contact.

Janyln is seldom seen outside of her cavern. When she chooses to meander the many tunnels, she's often avoided for fear of invoking her cruel wrath.

Without an official leader for the Reforged, her dabbling has not been stopped, and she only grows stronger in these magics. Time alone will tell if she can step back from this path she has chosen.
