Summis Mirum is the clan's accountant. All day, he handles the clan's treasure, counting it and making sure that no coin leaves or enters the hoard without notice. His real work, however, is when he returns home to his mate, Avicuiae Venenum. His role as the accountant seems easy when compared to dealing with her, but he never tires of his love. Many wonder how he can bear both his job and his mate.

Summis had a pretty easy life. He was born into a kind, caring clan, and when he left for his own reasons he quickly found Clan Vapor Latras. It was small and without a name, and the leader, Draco Venenum, was no older than him. Draco knew that her growing clan desperately needed organization, and she could see that Summis had the skills for such a demand. He readily accepted her offer, and found a permanent place in the clan.

As time passed, Summis Mirum worked tirelessly to keep up with the clan's hoard's ever-changing state. It began to wear him down, because at first he, a social creature, had no other to share a den with. Like an accidental hero, Avicuiae saved him; if she hadn't been hyper and happy around him, he would've found no love. Without her love, he would have literally worked himself to death. Her energy, not sleep, is what replenishes his drained spirit at night.
