B I O G R A P H Y
Danny took his multiple roles upon the Boogie-woogie very seriously. Though his biceps, larger than a man’s head and tattooed all the way around, made Danny look like a brute, Danny was actually quite gentle. He cradled the fruits and vegetables in his claws and apologized to them when he diced or chopped them up into the next meal for the crew. He lovingly whisked eggs and flipped pancakes, often taking far longer than necessary, to the point where the rest of the crew was past the point of irritated and hungry. Especially Sadie, who often eyed Danny with barely concealed dislike, though she always looked like that.

But cooking was not his only job. Danny cleaned up the spills Astro often caused. On most days he didn’t much mind Astro’s antics, even helping him on occasion, but Danny was always the one to clean up after. Whenever the guttural bellow “Astro!” floated throughout the ship, Danny knew a mess was calling his name. As mild mannered as he was, Danny once yelled at Astro not to use glitter or fake foods in his pranks anymore. So far, Astro had complied, but he was certain glitter would return soon. Danny shuddered to think about having to clean the dog again.

Whenever the ship encountered a malfunction, Danny was expected to fix it. The blender starting on its own again? Better get the tools. Danny had a suspicion that Astro was behind it, since he kept insisting it was ghosts, but level-headed Malshelonius deterred the idea. Astro’s pranks were never malicious, and he doubted Astro possessed the know-how to break something and have it turn on afterwards. Over time, Danny had taken to talking to the ship when he was alone. He was never sure, but he once sensed the ship lift in his company and sag when he was gone.
