Of all the incredible moments in the movie, I most vividly remember the emotions I felt at that first glimpse of the unicorns in the sea. It was a strange mixture of awe and sorrow. Yes, I actually admired Haggard for having captured the unicorns. Who hasn't wanted the same thing in their life? But I also remember the sting in my young eyes because those beautiful beasts should be free so the world doesn't lose their magic! Even now, I get a little emotional about it.

I knew I couldn't finish this project without what might be the "character" that impacted me most: the Unicorn Seas. My teen son helped me to scry many ideas and showed surprisingly artful insight when I was nearly settled on Iridescent. He said it lacked depth and pointed out how Poison coupled with Crackle captures the turbulence of the sea and the unicorn's escape.

Thus I give you Licorne and Llyr of Unicorn Seas, probably the most special part of this project to me.
