Having wandered away from his mother as a hatchling, he was picked up by the Cartel of The Honored. Then a rather small clan on a glacier, they welcomed the hatchling and named him Caducus, frail, because they feared the cold would drive him to chose to stay with their deity. But the young snapper male thrived and found a mate in a mature Ridgeback. After only one week of courting, the two Mated and had a nest of Three. Gifted with the immense strength of his kind, he often broke things as a hatchling. After taking him out on a few hunting trips, the Cartel decided in unison not to allow him to follow them, lest they find all of their food to be crushed to bits. For months, he was left in the corner while Vindicta and Furia debated on what to with him. Finally, when the familiar count grew out of hand, they decided to have him take over. With his immense strength he could bring powerful familiars under his control and he was gentle enough with those who needed caring. He often switches his familiars around to prevent his favorites from getting too lonely. Now he continues working with the familiars, finding them much more preferable than his mocking clanmates. |
