H I S T O R Y

Born during the warmth of summer, Alisx was healthy enough when hatching considering he was not within the Ashfall Waste. After shedding his eggshells, the tiny coatl found himself.. alone.

He crawled, weak and scared, through the thick jungle of the The Viridian Labyrinth until he found a clearing where he could rest and drink for energy. The sun was warm, helping to ease the newborn into life around him. He ate the fish within the waters and slept tucked under large trees. While his lack of a mother to nurture him did stunt his growth, Alisx soon grew into a mature Coatl.

His fear of others did not sway as he aged, causing him to hide if noises in the night caught him before sleep could claim him. He was timid and even the smallest of beastclans made his heart clamber into his throat.

When he was beginning to settle in with the thought that he would be alone for his entire life, he met Daniel. Daniel was a calm, level headed Coatl, independently exploring the world around himself with what seemed to be no fear. He was a bit cold on the exterior, but his eyes were warm and those eyes were what drew Alisx in.

The pair of them were at odds with one another at first. With Alisx struggling to do any speaking and Daniel uncertain of the other's intentions. But their shared solitary beginnings and longing for peace helped them to bond with one another. Small conversations soon lead to warm summer morning swims in the lakes and sleeps with their plumage meshed together as they laid with one another. Love, a concept that had at one point felt as if it would always elude them, seemed to have found them.

____As time went on, Alisx met other dragons, lone wolf, disowned, the oddities of the world. And though he was shy and had difficulty always speaking to each one, they bonded. They all knew how it felt to be alone and for some, unwanted. The loneliness and misery felt by each of them was shared and because of that, they were able to find comfort together.

____It was never quite vocally decided, aside from among a few of the ones who'd first settled in, but eventually the residents of the woodlands came to tell any fresh wanderers that they were a clan and that Alisx was the founder. It was funny to some, who towered over him, but accepted. The small clearing had expanded intensely, housing all sorts of misfits.

_H I S T O R Y_

____Ayoung coatl named Alice joined them from within the deeper areas of the region, her green eyes soft and alight with love. She took to caring for the hatchlings as the clan grew in size and numbers.

____Later on, even though there were plenty of nesting areas and the pairs could tend to their own young, Alice continued to oversee every one of them. She became known as the den mother of the clan and it was never argued when she had a random young by the scruff in her mouth, trotting them to and fro. Not even Alisx will give a quip when she has dragged one of his own hatchlings out from their nest.
