Personality:
CrimsonFlames is a bold and brave warrior, skilled fighter and extremely loyal. Unlike most of his race, the Coatl is a troublemaker and rarely prefers diplomacy to combat. This temperament made ​​him often unwelcome in the eyes of others Coatls, who consider him the black sheep of their society. On the contrary, CrimsonFlames thinks they are all wimps snakes who don't have the courage to bring out their claws and fight for what they care.

Lore:
CrimsonFlames was born into the Emberglow Hearth. Unlike his brothers, since he was an hatchling, he shows to be a gruff bully who is easily offended and who doesn't refuse a good fight. He enlist in the guard of the Great Furnace and soon arrives on top of the hierarchical ladder and he reach the rank of Captain. Soon, however, his impetuous and often aggressive temper is noticed by his superiors who choose to invoke the sacred bond of diplomacy which Coatls are called upon to take the oath.
He met Trogdor the day they tried to catch Angouleme for the theft of the statue Flamecaller and he was struck by the great courage and enthusiasm shown by the Guardian. After some days, CrimsonFlames is harshly accused of mistreating some dragons in his entourage and the Council of Coatls decides to send him away from the Great Furnace, using the excuse of delivering the stolen statue to Trogdor as a thanksgiving from them. The dragon reaches the couple into the Emberglow Hearth and there he joins the company and become a faithful friend of the Guardian.

CrimsonFlames continues to conduct his role as the Guard's Captain of the Adventurers Guild. He constantly patrol the boundaries of the clan to ensure that none of its members are robbed or attacked by external enemies.
He's still secretly convinced that Angouleme is two-faced and works for someone, for this reason he never misses an opportunity to spy on. He doesn't approve of Trogdor entrusting her into the patrols, but for now, the Coatl has never been able to find valid reasons to get her away from her task. He "respects" the Ridgeback only because she has become Trogdor's mate.

CrimsonFlames is also a skilled craftsman and forger. He loves working with metals and build his own weapons and armor. The Guardian has always asked him to show his abilities to Angouleme, but the Coatl has always found an excuse to refuse the task. During some days, when his anger or aggression become unsustainable, CrimsonFlames retires to his den and surrounds himself with Bloodstone. No one knows why, but squeezing this stone is often used to relieve stress after long arguments.
