Personality:
Thermistor is an intelligent and imaginative Skydancer. Being energetic physically and mentally, he is often fidgeting when not working on a project he’s putting together in his head. Occasionally his passion for science does get out of control and he has been known to let his inventions get to dangerous levels before shutting them down. Thermistor still insists that he is very pragmatic when working and would never intend harm via his experimentations.

Lore:
As a hatchling born into the Shifting Expanse, Thermistor was taught how to work and invent from a young age. He was keen to learn and caught on quickly to what the dragons in his birth clan taught him about their works. While not all his siblings cared for the tasks they were given, he couldn’t get enough and would often be racing around trying to take in everything at once. As he matured, he calmed somewhat and was able to craft bigger and better things, one being his magic endowed golem that he keeps and controls with a gauntlet he wears.
Thermistor was a prodigy in his clan by the time he was mature enough to leave and, while he enjoyed working in his birth clan and definitely could’ve stayed, he wanted to find more ideas for future inventions.
His travels took him to Caracalla’s Tavern in Flamecaller’s warm lands. Thermistor hadn’t meant to get off course, but after meeting a Spiral known as Krono, he knew the tavern had been the place to end up. Krono was an inventor and the two became quick friends.
Thermistor was the only dragon who sticked around most of the time when the Spiral worked, due to the explosive results that happened far too often. Not that he minded, Krono was a great inventor despite that flaw and the two make quite a team.
It was Krono who had told him about the Adventurer’s Guild and with a farewell he went to seek them out. With his display of intellect and knowledge it wasn’t long before the Guild accepted him as one of their own, which gave Thermistor a place where he could invent and oversee the refining of the materials he’d be using.

As an inventor for the Adventurer’s Guild, Thermistor develops new ideas for how to aid the dragons in the Guild with travel and marking their discoveries. He tests out new inventions and works with the other dragons to see what they would like improvements on to make their adventures more enjoyable. Not to say he doesn’t make inventions to help himself time to time either.
Whenever Thermistor isn’t creating a new invention for the Guild he is usually making improvements to future experiments or updating his robotic helpers. If he’s taking a longer break he is usually with Krono, helping the Spiral with his inventions while exchanging ideas.
