B I O G R A P H Y
Beauty blinds the weak and lonely. The case is no different for weary travelers who gaze upon Lun. She looks as though she has been blessed by the glow of the moon, scales shimmering with each twist and turn she makes. She looks so peaceful, in her natural habitat but be warned, looks can be deceiving.
Everyone in the clan knows of Lun. The skydancer who appears in the late of night to dance for her love, the moon. Some say the moon was a past lover, she dances for her in hopes the moon will take her back, others say it's where her true home is and she dances because she misses it. Either way, she is beautiful to watch, if only they knew the truth. Beauty comes at a price. The truth was long ago Lun was very sick, deathly so. She could taste her demise on her tongue and became so desperate to live she began praying to the moon to heal her failing body. She did this for months as she grew weaker and weaker until one night, the moon answered. That very night the two made a deal, Lun would come to worship the moon every night, and in exchange, she would live each night she danced. If she missed one night her body would decay at the drop of a pin. And so Lun dances, even if her feet are raw and bleeding she dances. You may think it's beautiful, but she doesn't have a choice. |
