"I wish to be like a tree; gentle, sturdy, and long-lived."
Originally part of a small medical team on the Lightning Farm, Monarchi left the team to seek a better life. He wanted to work with herbs and children instead of lightning-damaged dragons. He encountered another clan in the Scrub before traveling to the edge of Lightning territory and finding Yohn’s clan.
A gentle giant, this massive pacifist is one of the largest, heaviest dragons in the clan yet spends his time tending the gardens and wrangling hatchlings. Being the clan's sole botanist, the surplus of plant food stores are mainly thanks to him. His main duties consist of helping to keep the clan well-fed, aiding the clan's alchemist Ivy to stay well stocked in reagents, and assisting the medic Mephistopheles in keeping the shelves full of useful herbs.
It was but a few seasons ago when the lovely female Bakura joined the clan. She showed an interest in botany and visited the gardens often. It wasn't long before she became his apprentice, allowing him to teach her everything he knows about the plants he so carefully tends. With all the time they began to spend together, their fondness for each other and their work grew. Bakura became his new mate. He's looking forward to when she feels ready for her first nest of eggs.
All of his children are serving deities, and his previous mates have left him. Other than that, a great deal about his past is unknown to everyone but him. The last clan he was in, a grand place for Imperial refugees called Imperious Rescue was where he met many of his friends, including Spice, Tobai, Salis, Oryx, etc. When they ventured out to find a new clan, he followed suit and now lives a happy life in his garden.
