Rivalen's Story So Far...
Rivalen was abandoned as a hatchling at the edge of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. He doesn't remember his biological parents. All he remembers is a voice saying, Now stay here. I'll be back soon. But no one ever came back. He was found by a fae named Pebble, the healer of a thriving Water clan. She took him back to her Clan, and did her best to care for him. Even though Pebble had had two children, she wasn't really disposed to caring for children, and Rivalen found himself spending a lot of time alone. He didn't relate to the other hatchlings, as many of them dreamed of serving the Tidelord as soon as they were grown. One day, a wandering dragon named RedWings came to the Clan. She and Rivalen bonded quickly, and when she decided to leave the Clan, offered to adopt Rivalen as her son. Now, the two of them are off on their next adventure.

January 24
This is the first clan I've stayed in since the last water clan. I'm glad RedWings offered to take me with her. This light clan feels more stable than the last. None of the hatchlings ever talk of being exalted; in fact, they think of it more as the end than a glorious opportunity. I've made friends with a small Imperial named Alana. She has a protective older brother, Romeo, but we've managed to sneak away from him several times to go fishing or bug hunting by ourselves. She's a lot of fun to hang out with. She seems really fascinated with stories about other clans. I've gotten to know RedWings better too. She loves to explore the new terriroty. She's told me it's her first time staying with a light clan. The light clan has even given her a nice bag to take with her when she goes out exploring. Speaking of exploring, I think we're gonna to get going soon. The clan has been great, but I'd like to see more of the world before I settle down. Maybe I can come back some day and resume my friendship with Alana.
