I had always wondered what it was like to fly. However, I was born a panther gecko, not a bird. However my owner attempted to make feel as if I was in the air. She built a small, safe rope set for me to climb on, but I still didn't believe I was flying. Years past, I was fed and cared for, but that feeling still retained. It was even there when I fell sick, and then died from a tumor on my stomach. All my life, I felt grounded, and now I would never be able to feel such a thing ever again.... Serpentine slowly opened his eyes, and a group of strange creatures were gathered around him. The smallest one there, then hopped atop his snout "Heya, you have any idea what you're doing on our turf? You're definitely not a coatl from our clan, that's for sure." murmur arose from the crowd. "Hold up!" a voice arose from the crowd as three more of the mysterious creatures stormed through. "Are you sure this is him?" the masked one glanced at the light blue one with a book. She nodded, and then turned to him "....Mountain? Is that you?" her voice was strangely similar to one he's heard before, but where? "W-who are you?" he gave the nocturne a quizzical look. "Don't you remember me? I-I'm" but Serpentine was already giving her a hug. "How are you here?" Ayaka only giggled "Oh my sweets, I will always be with you." and the two embraced once more. Months have passed since he first awoke to his new life in Sornieth, and Serpentine was dashing through the corridors to the nearest exit. When he reached the outside gloom, he then spread his wings and shot up into the air. Ayaka followed him, and promised him that he won't fall, Just like in old times... however now, he wasn't climbing on a tiny rope set, he was truly flying. His wish had been granted after all... |
