Goldenfeather formed as a wind lair, nestled in the creases and drafts of the steppes. A lone fae, Tropic, painstakingly built a shack for herself, nearly pushing herself to death. If it weren't for her soon best friend, Tangelo, she would've. These days, however, she wears her bandages symbolically, with pride.

Tropic became an ambitious, almost militant leader. She recruited fresh blood to join her clan, building up rooms for each new dragon. Soon, the once-humble bamboo shack was a snaking complex in the pestilent wind. There, the breezlings of the clan came up with a name for their humble city- Skybound.

Skybound thrived- after the influx of dragons slowed due to high maintenance costs, they began dressing in elegant clothing. Thus began the hierarchy; here was when the more attractive, important dragons emerged as stars. And so became of classes- royalty, flight representatives, first generations, and others, in order of their overall beauty. Among the royalty was a young skydancer dragon with strange memories, who turned out to be the creative spirit behind this tiny city.

Eventually, this city reached its apex, an ancient lair. But, something didn't seem right within the walls...

The unrest turned out to be a certain longing to travel, directed by the great Windsinger himself.
