Assistant of the Operator
Clan Thief/Assassin
"Thoughts are the shadows of our feelings - always darker, emptier and simpler." -Friedrich Neitzsche

A dragon born of assassination and stealth, Obsidianwing contributes to the clan by putting her superior skills to use against opposing clans. Her scar marks her near-death experience long ago, and her mask represents her assassin-like qualities. Her family name is Saalkon, a family known for their asssassins.

Back when I was still a young dragon, I was in a secret association called the Deathbells. I was born into it. Once I grew from a hatchling to an adult, they started training me. For what? I didn't know then, but it was because they wanted me to become an assassin. They gave me the number 23456403. Soon I was quick and deadly, so they sent me on a few missions. I handled them with ease, and slowly rose to the top. They called me the Frostblade by the lower dragons, but by the higher ones, I was just called by my number. I blended in with dark and my eyes glowed in the night. One day, our leader was endangered on one of his missions. I gathered a team of assassins. Leading them deep into the woods, I found him facing off against an amalgamate of limbs and heads, and each of the eleven heads' eyes glowed with many different colors. It was one of the biggest dragons we had ever seen. We fought hard, but were soon forced into retreat. Dashing away through the wood, our legs caught on undergrowth and tangled vines, but we pushed forth due to the terrifying thing pursuing us. We couldn't lose it, so we had no choice but to face it. It struck five of us down with one mighty sweep of its claws and scratched the left side of my face, leaving a deep scar. The emperor took into the sky and it's heads glowed with magic about to be unleashed. Suddenly, a large mass of black smashed into the emperor. It fell to the floor and vines grew around it to trap the monster. The earth trembled and fungi grew upon the body of the struggling beast. Looking to the sky, the remaining dragons of my group watched as the Earthshaker, the Gladekeeper, the Plaguebringer, and the Shadowbinder unleashed a fury of spells and attacks at the emperor. We dashed off to save our own lives and realized that even our deities were having trouble. The Tidelord and the Windsinger came along and aided their fellow deities. Soon, the emperor died and sank into nothing as the deities gathered flew back to their domains. We spoke not one word as we scattered in the middle of this heated battle. I was lost in the wood, and I trekked on until the black trees grew green once more. I then found myself with a group of obsidian dragons like me who welcomed me. They asked my name. I did not know what to say, so I just told them that I was just 23456403. They looked me up and down, and then smiled. "Is Obsidianwing okay?" I said that it sure was, and became part of this clan.
