Amon

-Brightwork and Shula line great-great-grandchild (Eilif -> Ena -> Ghalib)

-Loves to knit and crochet but is very picky about the texture of the yarn and the feel of the various patterns (he only does patterns he think feel "nice" and that please him to make); also only uses wooden needles, since he dislikes the feel of metal and the sound they make when clicking together.

-He also doesn't like the texture of his own pearl; one of the first things he made was a cozy to wrap around his pearl, and he hates having to take it out and add to it, so he always procrastinates this procedure. As a result, his pearl is smaller than most pearlcatchers his age.

-Can't stand the noisiness of the forge and the heat and the texture of metals between his claws and the heavy tools; does not like loud noises that startle him and feels overwhelmed because if you make a mistake with metal, you can't just take out stitches and remake it, so it's easier to ruin, and he gets very dismayed when something is ruined. As a result, he never works with his grandparents.

-He also has very decided likes and dislikes when it comes to colors, but his chosen colors aren't always pleasing to the eyes of others; Yew does display his scarves and other textile arts in the Stitchery, but very few are sold (most of his works are given away as gifts that he proudly presents to others).

-Both he and Brock like to give things to others to make them happy, and they both gave each other many flower arrangements and scarves in their long and adorable courtship, though it took Brock a while to find plants that had colors and smells and textures that Amon liked, and it took Amon a while to determine something he could knit or crochet that would work well with flower arrangements. They live together with Brock's cats (Amon approves of the soft texture of their fur), who play with the yarn as Amon works.
