frarcane_vertical_sword_by_littlefiredragon-dbjxyq7.png Mediocris was always a dreamer. When others mocked him for his curious ways, he would always ask them, "Why do you think you do this? It's a wonder, isn't it--how we can be so cruel to one another." This phrase became notorious for him, as his clan was abusive, and warriors killed for a higher position in battle. It was, well, brutal.
Growing up, Mediocris decided that he didn't ever want to associate with the dragons who had thrown him out, so when he encountered the Clan of the Black Rose, he was cautious to make new alliances. He had long given up the hope of a fully peaceful clan, but when first started to step into the lake of secrets, he realized that all of these dragons share something in common--every, single, one of them. And that was loss. Loss of a loved one, loss of a clan--loss of an entire family, in some cases. He realized, that peace could not fully be reached, but to persevere was enough for him at that time.
