The Berserker Clan
Residence: The Scarred Wasteland, The Wandering Contagion
The Berserkers clan is named after the monarchical family that leads it. This monarchy was started by the current leader's great, great great, great great great, great grandfather. Ever since its establishment the clan has been known throughout the wastelands for its extremely confrontational nature. Almost like an isolated island in the middle of the ocean, clans for acres around have given the Berserkers a wide berth, allowing the clan free roam of quite some distance around the main lair entrance. Dead tree trunks sharpened to a point and tall rib-esque structures jutting from the ground decorate the nearby land like a warning sign not to stay away, but to beware--"We're berserk!"
The Berserker clan resides on the edge of the Scarred Wasteland overlooking the Sea of A Thousand Currents. While once a relatively small clan, in recent times the leader has made an effort to become more welcoming to outsiders and has shown himself to be very entrepreneurial and almost cheesily endearing, although a majority of the clan comes off much the opposite. Almost like an outpost designed to attract the dirty and misguided, the Berserker Clan is uncommunicative, introverted, and belligerent. The permanent members do not live around the ground level settlement, but instead within the ant colony-like cave systems deep below the surface. It's become apparent that the clan and its members are very rough and tumble. Many of its residents, both temporary and not, are often veterans, war criminals, freebooters and bounty hunters. With the Scarred Wasteland being, well, a wasteland, the settlement is used as a place to stop, stock up, and rest. Quite nice of the Berserkers to run such a thing. Eh, it's probably a front.
Notes:
-Bio is a big WIP ehh
-Couldn't get to Shifting expanse easily so had to make alternate route around? (across water?) Why would he do pirate things and how would he learn about it assuming it's mostly kept from most of dragon society?? father did lowkey pirate things and Dagur learns about it? Pirates accidentally tell him about it thinking that since he was the heir to his father's throne, that he also knew about pirate things and was owed pirate things/position/duties??? PIRATE THINGSS
-he stopped wearing the helmet, it gave him helmet mane
-Beefy boy with short cut hair
-Brother of Cardel???
-After his father's disappearance, Dagur claims he killed his father once people started to question whether or not the young heir was prepared for the throne.
-Dagur's dialogue is almost always hostile, or passive aggressive at best.
-After his first venture into those foreign lands, Dagur returned a changed man, feeling almost enlightened by the ambition coursing through his veins.
-Secret passage for their ships to return to the clan which resides on the water flight facing edge of the Scarred Wasteland. One of two secret underwater passageways lead directly from the open ocean and into the Sea of a Thousand Currents.
-The authoritarian hellscape which is this clan, has dominated the southeastern side of the Scarred Wasteland for many generations, but only now is it spreading. Ever since the current clan leader, Dagur has started disappearing rather regularly, local clans have begun to speculate that the clan itself is facilitating some fairly dirty deeds with another flight, although many wouldn't put it beneath them to just be associating with beastclan. Still, it is unbeknownst to them what is truly going on..
-Dagur's sparkling goblin, Skill (Skrill?) found Dagur the way all strong magic beasts find their partners: Entrapment! Well not exactly. After Dagur's self deployed undertaking in the Shifting Expanse, he returned with copious amount of the lightning flight's engineering and cultural knowledge, and used this thinking he could summon a powerful elemental being to do his bidding. He ended up with a goblin who's stuck with him out of goblin code and thinks Dagur and his plans for conquest are the most poorly thought out schemes to ever grace Sorienth
It wasn't until a revolutionary Beastclan uprising that Dagur found his true calling...
