  Aether is a shadow, a spirit. She seems ethereal, as though she might not even be there at all but yet casts a presence. She hums with brilliant Lightning magic, and seems to almost disappear into the stormy sky at times. She is the silent watcher, the silent Aether, and long has she mourned the loss of that which was lost to the aeons and gods' wars... for oh so long ago, perhaps she was one of them. Perhaps in an age long gone, she was revered as a benevolent force, before prophecy came to pass and gods destroyed the world.

  She had wandered for aeons. She had aeons to go, before she slept. Aeons to pass, aeons to watch. She wasn't always a dragon in form, and she would never be in spirit after dragons had taken everything she knew. Once, she mingled with the children of the Second Age. Thst was before the great explosion. Once, she watched the Beastclan. That was before the gods' darkness returned and Eleven rose to battle it. Now she walks alone, vengeful and silent. The Expanse, where so long ago she walked beside the ancients, has changed.

She may seem as a dragon now. A form she took on when even the Beastclan forgot her, a form she took to curse those dragons who made the mistake of coming to the aether-spirit. Sometimes they come seeking her help, and leave forever cursed. Other times they come to end her, and are subjected to the Aether's very might, and do not return. Be careful of the sky, it is unforgiving, unforgetting, it remembers, it is no dragon...
