Annistaire has lived an incredibly long life. Perhaps longer than she should have. She has lived every life, visited every region the world has to offer, met every kind of person and suffered every kind of horror, and every kind of joy.

Seeing her in person can be intimidating to anyone who know of the dragon before them. Rumour has it she was one of the First, hand-crafted by her god, an Ancient who has changed their life over and over and over again for centuries. Now, she bestows her gift to those who can traverse the harshest land to reach her.

Over the course of talking to her, you may see her features change, her body aging, showing her true self. Returning again, and she will appear young and fresh again. A constant battle against the unforgiving force of time, trying to claim her once and for all, an endless battle that she refuses to lose.

Many find her unsettling, and are too afraid to even approach her hut; precariously balanced on stilts above a festering swamp. Not only is she difficult to find, but getting to her is also very dangerous, but anyone who has managed the task have said that the reward was well-worth it. The others? Well... Who can say whether it was the wilderness that caused them to vanish, or Annistaire herself?
