Biography

Praell is a lonely fellow. He's never been one to fit in, always skulking around on his own. As a child, he was the firstborn of both of his parents' first ever clutch. Stronger than most Faes his age, he should have been pushing his weight around and declaring himself a future leader. But he didn't. Praell preferred to wander off, getting lost and never learning from his mistakes. His parents would have to find him us using the trails of ice that he always left, because the Fae had an uncanny hatred towards plants. He would often endure bumps and scrapes whenever he disappeared, but no matter how many swollen bruises and bleeding cuts he procured, he refused to let his parents treat them. "I wanna grow up big and tough," he would always say. "Tough dragons don't let their mothers fuss over them. They heal on their own." Another oddity is that Praell always cried whenever he stumbled upon something dead. Be it a bird that had crashed into a window, or a butterfly that had never woken up, tears would always flood his eyes. He did not want things to die-- he wanted them all to survive. "They were weak, but they didn't deserve this," he would sob, clutching a bright piece of silk that he used for comfort.

Praell left for the Scarred Wasteland when he reached maturity, having read up on the Plaguebringer and realizing with delight that they shared the same ideologies. Survival of the fittest. Praell was afraid that a dragon that cried over the dead would not be accepted in such a land, so he worked to make himself cold to others. It worked... all too well. Pushing others away made him tougher emotionally, but it also isolated him from everyone that he had ever loved. Collecting bird skulls and parading him around like trophies made him look apathetic to the dead and the weak, but it also caused others to behave crudely to him. Praell was often called a freak, a weirdo, a runt. He pretended not to care. After all, if he was to dedicate the rest of his life to the Plaguebringer, than he would have no time for a mate or children.

All lore below this is subject to change! He's an old dragon that desperately needs a lore overhaul, and I want to do something with him that doesn't include his bloodline. A revamp awaits!

"Happiness? Happiness? You must be joking. No, I do not ever plan to abandon my studies for the joke of but a feeling. No, I do not ever plan on having a mate or even kids. That is not what I desire. My only wish is to serve Plaguebringer for a long as I live, and do something so worthy of her notice that she spares a bit of time to congratulate me. That is my with. However, until then, I will just have to keep fighting for her honor."
At first, he just seemed... normal. No different then the other dragons, with his own unique little quirks and traits that made him separate from the other dragons, yet still the same. Still normal. Only after exhibiting questionable personality traits did the dragons of the Clan of Scattered Bones decide to look into his bloodlines, his heritage. What they found was shocking. Starting from his mother, Thyra, the bloodlines went up to Avalanche, then Kaori, then Calamity, Mara, Willow, and then finally, the Glitch Queen herself, Naomi. When observed more closely, it seemed the hatchling had no interest in saving the exalted, nor having any relations with the Shade. As a matter of fact, the hatchling dubbed Praell was most interested in Plaguebringer, wanting to know anything and everything about the deity. He spends his time fighting monsters and dragons and looking over the Plague flight's history as a way of trying to connect with the flight he so whishes he was born in. His favorite familiars are Enduring Goblins, Greatshells, Pangolin Racers, Everburn Tangles, Dreadram, Ashen Bicorn Whales, Ball-Jointed Bogsneaks, Ember Mouse, Contaminated Ambassadors, Armored Colonies, Fear Frogs, Graveyard Guardians, Deadly Glamourtails, and Aries.

Wishes to make others stronger. Believes in survival of the fittest, and that only the strongest should prevail. Has dabbled in necromancy. Occasionally rises falling Plague dragons to troll other clans.
