Intact Parchment 		The classic backstory, parents pressuring child to be someone that they're not, child rebels. But this time, Ender is the chill, well-behaved kid being encouraged to be rough, and violent. Growing up with many siblings, all virtually fighting each other to the death, was hard, especially since they sometimes made attempts on Ender's life during the night. Once, his sister Jinha tried poisoning his chicken wings. Let's just say, neither of them enjoyed the consequences. Ender does still love his family, and the rare, sparse times he does see his exalted siblings are bliss.

On the topic of family, Ender's mother, Shade, is actually heart-stoppingly terrifying to him. Not only that, but she genuinely hates him. His interests in the history of Sorenith and classical literature infuriates Shade, and is 'disgraceful' to his clan. The only parent who cares about Ender, is his father, Fletcher. Fletcher respects Ender's decisions and preferences. He's even been going out of his way to get relics and books for him.

Later, as the clan was starting the really grow, Ender met Lagoon. A kind and beautiful Guardian. She seemed to be a bit gloomy over something, she Ender tried comforting her. They soon became friends, and then close friends. Finally, they became lovers, Ender and Lagoon had a healthy, stable relationship. One that seemed like they would stay together forever.

But, the love of his life, the kind, lively Lagoon, was not his mate, she was already with Demon. Neither he or Demon knew about this. Apparently, Lagoon was only with Demon because was he was handsome. She grew out of that delusion, and fell in love with Ender, but stayed with Demon in case her relationship didn't work out. But instead of living happily ever after, Ender and Demon left her.
