Cocoa | The Patriarch A childhood of poverty and hardship has caused Cocoa, harmless and unassuming at first glance, to be far more dangerous than many dragons realize. Years of formative memories occupied by deceit and diversion to duck and weave around gangs and street bullies have given him instincts sharp as razor wire, and it is exceptionally hard to fool him. Cocoa first met his mate when Cocoa ran afoul of a street deal gone wrong left him grounded and heavily injured. Shadow, new to such a bustling city and too naïve to know better, charmed him with her hopes and dreams, untainted by the violence he had long become used to. As she nursed him back to health, he found himself falling in love and sought to stay with her wherever she went. |
As the current second-in-command of the Breezen Clan, Cocoa manages interpersonal relationships between clan members, and works with the Flight council to coordinate inter-clan and inter-flight relations for the well being of the clan. The work is challenging but fulfilling, and he can't see himself anywhere else.
