Meyer | The Innkeeper Once a proud scion of a prestigious Lightning clan, Meyer lost his home, his name, and his wealth to the vicious and cutthroat politics that govern his Flight's upper management. Disgusted and repulsed by the wolf-like ferocity by which his family was destroyed, Meyer chose to roam Sorneith for a time and understand his place in the world. Unfortunately, that didn't turn out well, as the spoiled and sheltered dragon learned quickly. He earned himself a reputation of arrogance and idiocy (thankfully, under a fake identity) that turned him off the path of an enlightened hobo. He then set his sights as far away from Lightning territory as possible, but his poor spending habits came and bit him in the tail. He snuck onto an airship to escape tax collectors and picked up a cloak and accent to hide his identity. |
Exhausted, broke, and yearning for some comfort, Meyer ended up catching the eye of Shadow at a tavern. She took a queue from his Lightning accent and invited him to the clan, where he served as an assistant to Rakhi for a time, calculating finances and crunching numbers for a multitude of functions within the clan.
When he learned of Traveling Dragons, Meyer was oddly fascinated by the stories of each visitor and by the concept itself. Nowadays, he's set up what he lovingly calls his "Inn for Traveling Dragons!", which is colloquially known as the Tavern by the rest of the clan. Moonshine handles the bar, and Meyer handles everything else.
