I got my baby ;v; Anyways, I have a very, very long story here that'll I'll copy and paste! It's not my conventional layout, but...ye.

Just to clarify, this dragon is considered a Fandragon since he's supposed to be a Luxray. He may also be dressed like his namesake from the inFAMOUS series too! The extra stuff (and circuit) shows the powers he gets (techno, neon, smoke and concrete).

I’m going to spoil him with art and make him one of my go-to avatars alongside dear Pickledad! Also his familiar is a reference to the design on Delsin’s jacket. (Roc).

DELSIN: THE CAT THAT CAME BACK
SPOILERS FOR: THE INFAMOUS SERIES, POKEMON Y AND POKEMON LIGHT PLATINUM.

Ok so, all of this is based on this old art right here from my DeviantART days. Namely, the dude in the top left. He became a Luxray shortly after my post actually!

He's...he's the reason why Luxray is my favourite Pokemon.

To cut it short, in late 2014 I liked watching people play games on YouTube (Still do, but I started then) and got into watching 'cutscene movies'. Essentially, it's the gameplay but just cutscenes that made up the story.

I liked the Infamous series the best (about regular people who get superpowers), and I got into Second Son since it was the new game in the series. I liked the main character Delsin Rowe a LOT, more because of his characterisation than anything physical I'm Ace so it's kinda hard for me to get that. But anyways...I wanted to get a Pokemon that I thought would be awesome as a tribute to the game series! I was 16-17 at the time and I kinda cringe about it now lmao, but then again I have a WHOLE LAIR dedicated to references so...

I also wanted to play a ROM hack of a Pokemon game. I'd tried to find Uranium but I couldn't for some reason, BUT I did remember I wanted to play Platinum for a while. Giratina was (and still is) my favourite legendary, so I went searching. I found Light Platinum instead.

It was a Ruby ROM but it had Arceus on it, so I gave it a go! I found it on this site which had like, a joystick? for a logo (it was like Game Oldies but not?) and made a save file. If I remember, I called myself Nessa but this was when my OC, Synestra was a WIP.

Btw the site had like X and C as save buttons I think? You could save your progress to your account on the site.

Everything was fine for ages, I got my starter (the Ivysaur and then Croconaw) and played through. Then I caught a Shinx. He was Bashful and had Intimidate. Me, being the cutscene movie nerd, decided to name him Delsin because Delsin was awesome!!! Even though Bashful isn't exactly the right nature for a Luxray named Delsin. Oh also I got his powers mixed up with another conduit. So I pretended he was just using techno powers all the time. The dude's name is Cole MacGrath and he was in the first and second games. I remedied this later by catching a Ninetales in Alpha Sapphire two years later and naming it Cole cx

I had a Shinx with the wrong name and the wrong nature, and boy did I know it until he evolved...he did NOT want to co-operate! But I kinda found it endearing since the inFamous Delsin was also pig-headed and yeah. I did get frustrated that he was fainting a lot though.

One day he evolved and he started to destroy EVERYTHING. He quickly became my highest leveled team mate (carried everyone he did)...until the worst thing happened. The site glitched, my account disappeared for some reason...and so did the save file connected to it. I was DEVASTATED. I'd spent many hours struggling! I'd passed the 8th gym and was grinding for the league, but they were all just...gone.

I spent DAYS trying to get them back, I even went onto other sites at the prompting of a friend, but I was still sad about Delsin. I never went back to the site since I couldn't remember the name of it (and I still can't). Then I remembered I had Y.

I'd recently finished it and was just mucking around, so I decided that even if I couldn't bring everyone back (some of them had really cool game exclusive moves like Peaches with Lava Surf) I'd try for Delsin cos he was bae :3

I fired up my 3DS, plugged in Y, and went to Camphrier Town with Commando, my Talonflame. I'd gotten a Ditto from the Pokemon Village (the place where Mewtwo is post-game) and a Wonder-Traded Luxray named Koko (Male, Level 40?, Docile) and shoved them in to the Daycare Center. Both 'Mons are sadly lost to me today, and I looked through all my games for this post, but I'm getting ahead.

I got Egg #1 and started to cycle around Lumiose City with it to hatch it. When I did, I didn't think much of the kid (Delsin in LP I swear had so many 31 stats). His stats were meh, and it looked like his IVs weren't any good either. I named him Delsin and checked his other page anyways. He was Bashful with Intimidate. He came back on the FIRST EGG! I was so happy I cried a little (ok, a lot) but yeah I trained him till he got the moveset he had in LP and I leveled him to the level he was at too (since the E4 was super hard for me). When Alpha Sapphire came around I moved him there, and that's where he is to this day. The best part? He hates to lose.

Oh and to make up for the Cole/Delsin mishap I got a Ninetales in AS and named him Cole.
