Biography

Tyberion was in the first group of dragons to come to Windshear and he has had the most adventurous life. He started life as a Guardian, born into a Plague clan and was adopted into an older Wind unlike his other siblings or even parents who all eventually went to serve a deity. He lived lived a rather miserable life of being an ‘exalt breeder’ in this clan and lived in the Coliseum knowing any day could be his last as he became more and more powerful and useful to the Windsinger.

Then one day he met Nadalin by chance as she met with other groups of Wind leaders and realized he’d found his calling. He joined Nadalin's clan shortly after with the blessing of his old clan leader. Tyberion dedicated himself to Nadalin's protection in that moment and from then on became the Matriarch's bodyguard. He would not become her consort till later though.

Shortly after Tyberion joined the clan Nadalin introduced him to her friend in the Scarred Wasteland of the Stigma Clan where he met Sorbet, a guardian born of that clan who had her eyes on him. Over a series of months Sorbet and Tyberion grew very close and went on to mate a few times despite his loyalty to Nadalin. They ended up having many children and grandchildren and great grand children and great great grandchildren, many of who are still with their clans. It was during this time that Tyberion was gifted the first of his expensive scrolls that would allow his colors to become more than he was. That Nadalin would pay for his colors to be expressed for him to mate with another dragon was humbling for him as he knew at that time she had also fallen in love with him. What she did was for the good of the clan, and she would do anything for it.

But his relationship with Sorbet did not last. She found a new, younger, more handsome model of Tyberion who produced more beautiful children. Tyberion was both saddened he was no longer as useful to Nadalin in producing children but also thrilled that he could return to his Charge permanently. Tyberion wanted to better serve Nadalin now that he no longer made children and knew in his second shape (that of a skydancer) he could not so he spoke with the clan's Seer on how he should proceed. All dragons have a true form, Inkwell said, it was time Tyberion found his.

Tyberion took this to mean he needed to change his breed once more. In secret he collected the expensive materials needed to craft himself a new body and brought it to the arch mage. Ars crafted him a masterful wildclaw scroll and he surprised Nadalin with his new form, expecting her to be thrilled. While she was happy she was more concerned for his happiness and if this new form was what he wanted.

Tyberion holds the rank of Battle Master amid the clan, in being the first dragon to reach level 25 and takes his title very seriously. In the past he was responsible for training all young dragons before they become exalted but that task has now fallen to Kaley. Now instead he only protects the Matriarch and his mate, Nadalin. He has little patience for dragons other than his mate and comes across mean and spiteful to most. His one soft spot is for his mate, and for his children.
