Wolfsbane, usually known as Wolf, is an older dragon who is energetic, charismatic, eccentric, and unafraid of many things that she very much should be afraid of. She is the captain of the Sanctuary's ship, the Cerulean Cerdae. After she had volunteered for exaltation long ago, Wolf worked her way to the head position on this ship in the Icewarden's trade fleet. The Cerulean Cerdae was eventually retired, and Wolf was allowed to return to her clan with it, putting it to service in new and different ways to both the Icewarden and the dragons that she calls family.

The ship is used for fishing and resource gathering, for safe and secure transport of dragons and materials over the cold and dangerous seas around the Southern Icefields (not all of the Sanctuary's dragons are capable of flying or swimming over large expanses of water, if at all), for exploration and adventure, and for seeking out dragons who would like to return to the Sanctuary and go into service to the Icewarden. Wolf's stories alone have brought on board many a wistful dragon.

The dragons below are the ones who are most frequently part of Wolf's crew, but those who accompany her vary. With her skilled leadership, she can sail with as few as three other dragons, though any who has been on one of these journeys will attest to it being quite chaotic and only for the strong-willed. She welcomes all who want to contribute, though, and loves having Wind dragons on board - for obvious reasons.

Her and Granite are almost complete opposites - him, a warm and sleepy slow-moving homebody and her, a fearsome and energetic explorer who is always on the move. They spend more time apart than together, and both enjoy a lot of space; however this makes their moments reunited all the more cherished.
