Rhythm has never been very fond of magic, other than the illusory kind he can do himself. With magic, there is so much unknown, so much left to explain... but with illusions, he knows there's a man behind the mask controlling everything, only showing you what he wants you to see. It's always fascinated him, that control, that precision, that seemingly miraculous feat. So he's taken it upon himself to learn, and be the best he can possibly be so no-one but him can see the truth.
