Terra

Terra, had come to the Wind region after her hatch clan, Clan Euxenite, sent her off not too long after her hatching. At that point, she had never grown much past hatchling size, perhaps a strange genetic quirk, but her mind was quick and sharp. Her hatch-clan sent her to Draconem for the Wind Clan’s reputation as one that works at uniting and working with all Flights. They felt the little Mirror would have no safer place than one such as that, since Earth’s realm as times housed many colossal beasts. Wind was something of a safer region, as long as one avoided some updrafts!

When Terra came to the Twisting Crescendo, she was happily welcomed there. Quickly enough, the Clan’s head of gatherers and scavengers, Wolf, knew of Earth’s penchant for digging, and asked the Mirror if she would like to take charge of that duty. The small Mirror happily agreed, for particularly in Wind, many rare and valuable treasures could be found in the ground. Items such as Labradorite and Platinum Ore are some of the best items one can find in Wind.

The Mirror’s enthusiasm and positive spirit easily kept many in the clan happier even on the most gloomy of days. Unfortunately, as of late, tensions arose towards her hatch-clan from the BeastClans in that region. The Draconem did not worry too much, even though they themselves were not on the best of terms with any BeastClan either, but this proved foolish. While Terra was still young, and indeed still at her small size, harpies attacked her for her Euxenite heritage. It was not enough distance, some had said later. Others mentioned BeastClan would’ve attacked her regardless of where she went, for she distinctly held Euxenite markings…

In any case, she was badly wounded. For many days she could not leave the healers’ den. Terra was alive, but only just. Other clan-members had discovered the attack on her after they heard the Mirror’s shrill cries in the distance, for the harpies found the Mirror while she was sent out digging for the morning. She did recover, but Draconem did not forget the transgression. As such, they still hold a distinct anger towards the Harpy flock.
