Paxton

Paxton is the Ice representative of Crow Callers. He often visits some of the Gaoler-run prisons in the Southern Icefield - though he views the collection of Shade creatures as a necessary evil, he strongly dislikes the idea of Gaolers imprisoning anything that doesn't apparently fit the Icewarden's design (which may be in part due to Paxton himself being an Imperial, a breed considered a mistake by their own creator). Paxton especially condemns that Gaolers attempted to kill all of the Banescale many years ago, though the vast majority of the Gaolers he meets have also condemned - or even regretted - this decision as well.

As such, Paxton's relationship with the Gaolers of the prisons he visits is quite strained. He tries to stay polite and understand their reasoning for someone's imprisonment, but he's found it quite difficult to do in some cases. Georgia is one of the few he has a genuinely friendly relationship with, in part because she's one of the few Gaolers who directly appointed him to make these visits.

A notable dragon that Paxton freed from one of the prisons was FancySauce, a young Aberration mistaken for a Shade-touched creature.
