Disconsolate
Goddess of Precipitation Child of Sadzi Daughter of Badru Keeper of the Feud Disconsolate- without consolation or comfort; unhappy. Disconsolate is the first child of Sadzi and Badru. She’s the first child to be born during the feud, the great split between the two most powerful god families. It was her parents that caused the split. Her mother, Sadzi wanted the throne of the gods. She wanted to be queen. So she and Badru turned to their daughter to turn into a tool. Disconsolate was groomed for success. She was pressured to become a major god. If she failed she was nothing. She was as good as dead. Her parents would never love her if she was anything less than a major goddess. So Disconsolate worked to prove herself worthy of the crown of precipitation. She mastered the art of controlling water. She was taught how to swim. How to fight. She was taught everything she needed to know to be a powerful queen.

B I O G R A P H Y
Her children were successful, unlike Virtuous’s. Disconsolate became the goddess of precipitation and also an anxious, paranoid mess. She always second guesses herself. She feels every move of her is being judged. She believes every decision she makes is a mistake. She afraid of the judgements of others. She cannot show weakness. That was her entire life until she met Naperone. He was a son of Virtuous. He was an enemy. But he showed her kindness and trust and love. She married him despite the disapproval of her parents. She had hoped to break the feud by showing that love knew no boundaries. She and naperone lived happily together for awhile and even had a child named Nostopathy. Disconsolate was hopeful that one day the feud would end. But then Naperone broke her trust. He contradicted everything he had ever told her. He broke her heart and left her forever. She’d been more paranoid than ever since then. She’d hasn’t been able to trust anyone. She’d been quick to snap and often described as moody. The weather tended to reflect her emotions in her palace. Recently after Naperone left she was such an emotional wreck that she was unable to do her job correctly. Badru was forced to track down Naperone and rip out his heart just to please Disconsolate so she could continue to rule her Queendom. Disconsolate still keeps his heart in a jar on her bedside table. Her guardian is a manta ray named Birostris
