Pterosis

Pterosis is a handsome young maren who is the commander of a small group of militaristic maren that live in the river that runs through the Hewn City. These maren have adapted to the unusually cold temperatures of the river and have learned how to navigate the land. Until Nighthar met Pterosis this group of maren were at constant war with the dragon clan that lived near the river bank. Nightjhar had succeeded in delaying the tension between the maren and dragon clans, but the two groups of creatures still have a lot to work out before peace is possible.

Pterosis was once captured and tortured by another clan of dragons that used to live nearby. He still has the ugly scars that mark his otherwise attractive form. His tailfin sustained irreparable damage and Pterosis now relies on a cloth fin in order to swim. Pterosis was born with many long venomous fins which are advantageous when fighting in close combat.

Pterosis fight met Nightjhar as the harpy was running from his flock. Pterosis helped to hide him. He was immediately attracted to the harpy prince and convinced him to stay with his maren for a little while. Slowly the two got to know each other and eventually they became romantic partners.
