LANDS DIRECTORY The Empire is not truly constrained on its small island; in fact, that couldn't be farther than the truth. The "homeland" of Blacksun Island is little more than a stronghold: the talons of the Basilica stretch far and wide- from the Light-Lightning border to the highest altitudes of the sky. |

Umbra Basilica • The Empire's Center Placed on a small island, the Basilica is the host of gods and monsters alike. The Basilica itself lies carefully on the entirety of the island, its marble pillars and floors stretching to the sharp inclines and cliffs that signal where the island ends. The halls are bright lights reflected off of the stones and filled with ancient, powerful things. Tenants reside here simply because there's nowhere else for them to go. For all their power in their dominion, they are the ultimate lonely souls. They find solace in each other. |

Novus Schism • The Progenitors Land High above, just above the tallest tower of the Basilica, rests a tear in time and space. A black mass that perfectly completes the image of the Empire's black and gold regalia. This tear is a portal to remnants of a supernova- a nebula. It is here some of the gods and monsters of the cosmos sought solace, and the Emperor is no exception. It was his stronghold before his journey to this land, and his sentimentality has caused this: an alliance between the Empire and the creatures that lie past the Emperor's portal. |

Penumbra Laboratories • The Haven of Science Nestled snugly between the borders of Light and Lightning, the Laboratories has no short of academical and scientific resources. While a fairly new-found organization, the Labs has quickly moved up the rankings of prestigious scientific centers, boasting world-renowned facilities such as the hospital, the observatory, and multitudes of research agencies from things to magic to physics. It's a sanctuary for many a scientist, a promise of discovery with no boundaries. |

Windsun Forest • The Bamboo Forest Windsun Forest is the "capital" of a cluster of sky-bound islands based in the Windswept Plateau: the Enlil Islands. Deep in the woods is a small city of the wind flight's culture, made of bamboo, wood, and rice paper. The city was built as the center of the Islands and where the Mechanism is placed, also in the center of the city. The Mechanism is what gives the Islands its movement, as well as its defensive and attack capabilities. |

Enlil Islands • The Sky-bound Fortress While Windsun Forest is at the center, Enlil Islands is the rest. Enlil Islands boasts a wide variety of scenery and biomes, offering something for absolutely anybody within its protective reach. The islands here are ripe with life, so naturally, there would be quite a few ones that perhaps stand out a bit too much. Enlil Islands is the safe haven of safe havens, if one is lucky enough to follow the trails to its current location nestled high above the Umbra Basilica. |

Umbra Basilica The ultimate haven for gods and monsters. There's no true hierarchy here outside of the Emperor and the Empress; everyone here is equal, even the rulers themselves, for these creatures that dwell here are beyond the realm of petty qualms (or that's what they'd like to think, but they're doing good so far). |
