Biography
For as long as The Sunstrike has held these grounds, hatchlings have dared one another to travel as far as they could into the ridgeback's cave. Any sound of shuffling or the appearance of the dragon with dull-red glowing markings would cause the young ones to scamper off screaming. Ifrit found this to be quite the annoyance, since all he wanted was to be left alone with his mate, his texts...and the future. Unfortunately daring the lair of the mad seer was too much to resist for the young of the clan, trying to prove themselves as worthy to grow into a warrior and not be send to the Plaguemother. Piled around the ridgeback's lair lay hundreds of scrolls and tomes. Some had notes attached to them, indicating that the book’s pages had been deciphered. Others however, had yet to be read. If there was one thing for certain, it was that the chances of the written works ever seeing the light of day again were slim. Ifrit pays well for those who bring him old tomes. For who does not wish to glimpse into their future? Only one dragon can stand his company for long, for the Ridgeback constantly mutters, not even stopping in sleep. Khemu was recently cast into his cave, Dreja's first true success, now a jibbering wyrm stricken with madness and some say the ability to speak prophesy. Ifrit's muttering calmed her in a way that nothing else had, and with him, and the meditative mutterings she can find moments of peace. What should be a good time for Ifrit has recently turned into dread. He believes he has found evidence of the doom of his beloved clan. Danger aproaches, and if all are not careful, they shall be destroyed. He cannot stand it though. He knows not when, or what, or where this comes from, just that it nears. Despite his reclusivness rumors abound, others have begun to whisper. Some blame him, and say that he will bring this doom, other have begun to court him, hoping to learn how the can hasten the fall. Too bad he can't tell them apart.
