Sal comes from the Southern Icefields where he worked as a jailer for a long time. Most of his days were spent in solitude, checking the perimeter and occasionally chat with the prisoners. At least the ones who were capable of a decent conversation. For a long time it was enough. Until one day when it wasn’t. Word spread about work further north and he wanted to spread his wings, share his knowledge and maybe make a friend or two. He took the plunge and moved to Civitas Aurōrae, taking the new position as Custos Carceris; or jailer as it is commonly known as. There he is in charge of seven magically sealed cells, where prisoners are kept awaiting trial. Unlike on his old job he immediately hired an assistant, Vejovis, so he could have a few days off work every week. Sal is considered to be a nice guy. A bit socially awkward, he bought his current outfit based on how he thought that dragons dressed in Light territory. When first meeting others they tend to think he’s a noble Imperial, shocked to hear that he is a mere guard. A new recruit to Akero’s group of Dunhoofs & Dreadrams. Because of his occupation he can’t join every night, though the group tries to play in his dungeons. It is after all the perfect place! Sal has taken an interest in collecting and painting sculptures of all the beasts in Sornieth. |
