ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ
Karlirah, or Karli to her friends, is a calm and calculating dragon who knows her own worth and acts to that. She is the voice of reason whenever things get tough and others are running out of ideas. She spends her days in her own shed, tinkering and building things, and she has reputation even outside Tangled Wood as a brilliant engineer and mechanic. Even so, she is social and loves to go out for drinks with friends more than often, and her barking laugh can be heard even from outside the tavern.

ʙɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ
Everything started in the Stormcatcher's domain. Karli, just like her parents, was born in The Lightning Farm where the sky is filled with lightnings and wind howls in ears. To be honest, it couldn't be described as a calm and quiet place to grow up, but Karli wouldn't have changed anything. She was free to do what she wanted and go where she wanted, and growing up with minimal restrictions resulted her experiencing things by herself and sometimes learning things the hard way. As she grew up she became more and more interested in electricity and technology. For some time she only watched from afar as the clan's mechanics created machines and robots, fascinated by their passion towards their job. With determination and patience she taught herself the basics, and persuaded a place for herself among the other engineers.

One of the older engineers take her under his wing and started to tutor him, teaching her everything he knew and letting her experiment with her knowledge. By the time he passed away Karli was skilled and clever, and even though she was overwhelmed by sadness she was also happy she had met him. Even to this day she remembers him with warmth and joy. But home never felt the same without him, not even with his parents there. It was her time to leave and find her own place.

Never before had Karli thought she would leave the Shifting Expanse, yet somehow she found herself from traveling through Fire, Wind and even Plague domain. None of them felt like home, and she kept going, until one day her world was turned upside down. Quite literally, as well. She was minding her own business, and suddenly something, or someone, bounced against her which sent her stumbling down to the ground. It was the very moment she met Fuinor, fiery and feisty mirror with a fresh scar running over his eye. They never fought, as Karli was the first ridgeback Fuinor had ever seen and it had caught his interest. Instead they became friends, and Fuinor led Karli to the Tangled Wood, which she immediately fell in love with.

It had to be the glowing shrooms, Karli tell herself, and not the bouncy motormouth mirror, which got her to stay. Time passed by, and their small cave slowly turned into a lair as more dragons wandered there and found their own place. By the time Lightning joined the clan, in very similar circumstances as Karli, the ridgeback had accepted her feelings towards Fuinor but kept them hidden. What would others say if they were to become a couple, mirror and ridgeback? And what if Fuinor wasn't feeling the same way as she was..?

Even to this day she regrets not telling him. One time Karli and Fuinor were spending time together outside the clan. It was fun, both of them had finally time to relax and just enjoy each others' company. But before she even realized it, her world came shattering down. They were attacked. They were fast and agile, coming from the shadows and disappearing again only in blink of an eye. She fought back the best she could, and her only advantage was her size. She was bigger than their attackers, but got nasty wounds even despite that. When the situation finally calmed down, when she was able to drive the attackers away, she saw something that still makes her blood cold. Fuinor had not been as lucky as her. The mirror was not going to make it.

To others she told that he had left, that his time with them was over. It was easier that way, she told herself. She couldn't leave her friend behind, even when his survival seemed unlikely. She could not give up, she was smarter than that, she could fix it. So she hid his body deep within her workshop, and worked through night and day to get his friend back. She sewed his wide wounds, even when some parts were already starting to rot. It took countless tries but she was determined to make it work. She built a machine that would start his heart again, and finally after time long enough to make even her desperate, it worked.

ʜᴇᴀᴅᴄᴀɴᴏɴs
Karlirah has from birth been particularly perceptive to negative changes in temperature, making her hide alone an often inadequate source of warmth when the cold sets in. Quick witted as she is, the ridgeback learned early to encourage generation of heat with bursts of electricity.

When Lightning joined the clan Karli took her under her wing. While Fuinor taught her how to defend herself Karli taught how to build and create things. They quickly became very clode friends, and Karli is still there for Lightning to give advice whenever she needs it.

• Meier - friend

Karli and Meier became friends right away when Meier joined the clan. She likes the way he sees the world and in return Meier shares a pint in tavern with her quite often after a successful day.

• Fuinor - friend & love interest

For the longest of time Karli has had a crush on Fuinor, the clan's previous leader. They've known each other for longer than they can even remember, but Karli still has not been able to confess her feelings.
